Your Shifts
Get the shifts you want when you want! Diptot holds the exclusive staffing provider contract with many hospitals in the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding areas. This means we can offer you a variety of work environments and a casual work opportunity that allows you to work as little or as often as you like!

  • You are required to work a minimum of two shifts each month
  • Shifts are eight and twelve hours in length, depending on facility placement needs

Job Qualification

Our “exemplary standing” with Accreditation Canada is held to the highest regard and is a testament to the fact that we uphold the same hiring standards and patient care delivery as the facilities in which we serve.

Our Requirements

  • Continuing Care Assistant/Care Team Assistant (CCA/CTA) certificate OR Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN) currently enrolled in a bridging program and is in the process of attaining RN licensure or LPN licensure with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
  • Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis b
  • Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years
  • Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider)
  • Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
  • Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
